Beekeeping Wiki

The North American Bee Journal was founded August 1872 by publishers, Moon & King, of Indianapolis, Indiana, as a monthly periodical. Moon had left the National Bee Journal after its May 1872 edition - at which time he was residing in Paw Paw, Michigan. Volume I of this new publication covered some controversy apparently related to that departure.

Franklin, Kentucky, was given as an alternate subscription address.
